Addons: I have lots of addons, some clearly affected addons are 'Tampermonkey' and 'Bitwarden', they lost all their settings.
When I open Firefox this morning, the first tab I saw wants me to to logon to Firefox Sync, the second tab is Firefox's privacy policy, and then those extensions that automatically opens new tabs when installed opens tabs.
I can see that all my userscript is gone (!!!)... and Bitwarden logged out (not a big deal), somehow I'm still logged on in Reddit, and my browsing history is intact.
I want to find a way to get all my userscripts back.. I wrote some of them myself.

Mozilla has dumped Google in favor of Yahoo as Firefox's default search engine in the US. If you've been using and enjoying Google search, the previous default, in Firefox then you'll need to dig into settings to change it back. And while you're rummaging around in Firefox's search settings, there are a few other search options to consider.
Before getting to the new stuff, let us first return Firefox to its old search ways. To get rid of Yahoo search, open Firefox's Preferences and click on the Search tab. (You can also head directly to the search tab in Preferences by typing a letter in Firefox's search bar to call up the search window before clicking Change Search Settings at the bottom of said window.)
From the search tab in Preferences, you'll see Yahoo is selected in the Default Search Engine area. Use the pulldown menu to return it to Google or select one of the other search providers. Just below, there's also a checkbox for Provide search suggestions. With this box checked, it's worth noting that Firefox will provide suggestions as you key in letters in the search bar, but not in the address bar.
Firefox has added a new wrinkle to its search bar, one that lets you quickly use a search engine other than your default for a particular search. As you type in the search bar, it offers to search using an alternate search engine. At the top of the search bar window, just below the search bar and above the search suggestions (if you have them enabled), it shows you your default search engine. Below, it shows icons for other search options, including Bing, DuckDuckGo, Amazon, eBay, Twitter and Wikipedia.
After entering your search term, click on one of the icons to open a new tab with results for that search option. You can also use the down arrow to cycle through the options before hitting Enter to make your selection.
On the same Search settings tab in Preferences, you can choose which of these alternate search engines will be displayed. There is also a link to Add more search providers, which takes you to an Add-ons page where you can add other search sites to Firefox.

Tips to secure your Facebook account: It doesn't take long to make sure your Facebook account is locked down.
Firefox allows you to securely store usernames and passwords for websites in its Password Manager. When you visit one of the websites again, Firefox automatically fills in the username and password to log you in.
If you need to find out what your password is for a specific website for which you saved your logon information, you can easily do so. To view your saved passwords in Firefox, select Options from the Firefox menu.
NOTE: You can open the Options dialog box by selecting Options on the main Firefox menu or on the submenu.
On the Options dialog box, click the Security button at the top. In the Passwords box, click Saved Passwords.
The Saved Passwords dialog box displays each site for which you have saved your username and password, and displays the usernames. The passwords are hidden by default. To view the passwords, click Show Passwords.
A confirmation dialog box displays to be sure you want to show your passwords. Click Yes if you still want to view your passwords.
A Password column displays and all your passwords are shown. Civ v mods multiplayer. Itâs a good idea to make sure no one is lurking about near you because the passwords display in plain text on the dialog box.
To delete a password from the Password Manager, select the appropriate site and click Remove. To delete all your passwords, click Remove All. To hide your passwords again, click Hide Passwords.
NOTE: You can search for a specific site using the Search box. As you type the search term, the results display in the list box. To clear your search and list all the sites, click the X button.
If youâre going to use the Firefox Password Manager, we highly recommend that you apply a master password to your stored usernames and passwords. Without a master password, if someone gains access to your account, they can easily open the Password Manager and view your passwords. To add a master password, open the Options dialog box again and select the Use a master password check box.
The Change Master Password dialog box opens. Enter a master password in the Enter new password edit box and again in the Re-enter password edit box. Click OK.
Click OK to close the message telling you that your master password has been successfully changed.
If you want to change your master password in the future, click Change Master Password on the Security screen on the Options dialog box. To close the Options dialog box and save your changes, click OK.

Some websites do not allow the saving of usernames and passwords, therefore, the Firefox Password Manager will not work with those sites. Also, some websites provide a option, in the form of a check box, that allows you to stay logged in on that website. This is an independent function of the website and works whether or not you have saved your login information for that website in Firefox.
